The river Dunajec offers to tourists a wonderful experience and breathtaking scenery. The river is not difficult to navigate. There are only a few rapids and you only need a little experience to negotiate these. Of the total 9 km of the river Dunajec, the most beautiful part is the gorge itself where the river goes downwards with only a few rapids.

Renovated in 2012, the stylish Makarska City Bay offers self-catering studios with free Wi-Fi, an LCD satellite TV and air conditioning just steps away from the beach. The upper part of river Mreznica consists of several waterfalls with second highest on river Mreznica, 8 m. Cascade waterfalls creates pools of warm water between them which makes perfect refreshment away from the coast and the beach crowd. Rafting/kayaking on river Mreznica takes from 2 - 3 hours and has elements of Canyoning (natural waterslides, showering under waterfalls, jumping from high cliffs, walking through the canyon). Waterfalls can we pass somewhere with natural waterslide, somewhere with jumping into the lower pool or walking around the cascade but some barriers we can cross in kayaks. Guides mostly must throw the kayaks from high barriers but turist can also pass cascade walking around.

Middle river sections consists of alot of cascade waterfalls not higher an 3 m. The section are good for peacefully family paddling tour with swimming, showering under the waterfalls and have fun. The tour consist of 15 waterfalls. Kayaking on Mreznica is very interesting and intensive because of the amazing nature, waterfalls and canyon.

The color of the water changes from lake to lake due to specific sources (springs).
